The project consists of the construction of the new HS Porta Susa Railway Station. The project of the new railway station forms part of the new urban asset implemented by the Municipality and associated with the realization of the railway link, the four-track update and the burial of the existing rails with the creation of a tree-lined boulevard above tracks which shall link two parts of the city which are currently separated by the railway line.

The new traveller facility will serve the main railway routes of Turin, at regional, national and international level as well as the High Speed trains.

In the scope of the design development, it consulted RTI about the following aspects:

Fire safety strategy

Safety coordination during the design stage

Extender of the manual of use and maintenance during the design and execution stage

Support in the drawing up of the specifications for the maintenance of the facility during the transition phase

Drawing up of the CFD study to check the fire-fighting strategy developed during the design stage

Manager of the handling and preparation of fire safety SCIA per phases.

Drawing up of the documentation for the opening of the railway station in different stages.
