Yesterday in Parma, Engineer G.G. Amaro was a guest lecturer at SICURTHEC Village, an important yearly event that runs throughout Italy confronting the most recent innovations regarding the culture of fire safety – design solutions and technical, regulatory aspects.
The event took place at the Sala Verdi of the Starhotels Du Parc, and the topics included a detailed discussion of the Fire Prevention Code in the morning and the passive protection systems and fire prevention measures needed to correctly manage fire safety in the afternoon. During his presentation entitled “The Most Advanced Use of 3-D Modeling Tools in the Field of Fire Engineering” Engineer Amaro illustrated how BIM is becoming an increasingly indispensable tool in the design of spaces subject to fire engineering strategies .
